Panoramic Rhodes

#rhodes

Take this wonderful opportunity to enjoy a relaxing panoramic drive of the east coast of the island of Rhodes from the comfort of your coach.
Leaving the pier you'll pass by the city walls of the old town of Rhodes and drive to Monte Smith from where you can see over the town of Rhodes, the castle, the coast of Turkey and the nearby islands.
After an approximately one-hour drive, passing by picturesque little villages, you'll arrive at the area of Lindos.
From a promontory, you'll be able to see from a distance the ancient Acropolis of Lindos, which according to Homer in "The Iliad", was built by the Dorians along with the cities of Kamiros and Ialyssos and was a considerable nautical power during antiquity.
Also the village of Lindos with its 1,000 inhabitants lies underneath the acropolis.
You'll then re-board your coach passing by Faliraki and Kallithea and return to Rhodes town and your ship.
